Arizona Rates

 

Residential Service

Available to residential consumers, small schools, churches, community halls, and other public buildings requiring less than 50 KVA of transformer capacity, for all rural and town uses within the utility's Arizona service area.    The capacity of individual motors served under this schedule shall not exceed 10 HP.
 

Standard Monthly Rate

Customer Charge $12.35 (System Charge)
Energy Charge 8.64 cents/kWh
 

Monthly Time-Of-Use Rate - at the option of the customer

Customer Charge $15.60 (System Charge)
Energy Charge  
From 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.*
9.75 cents/kWh
From 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.*
6.0 cents/kWh
The system charge covers costs of providing electric service, including operation and maintenance of facilities, consumer accounting expenses and other administrative costs.
Purchased Power Cost Adjustment (PPCA)

The utility shall, if purchased power expense is increased or decreased above or below the base purchased power cost of $0.04172/kWh sold, flow through to the users such increases or decreases, as approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission. This is reflected on the bill as FUEL ADJ RATE.
